We share a vision of providing programs for our young people to engage their minds, awaken their spirits, & encourage compassion for others.
This year's curriculum will focus on social justice and the history of the Hudson River.
Classes are held on Sundays during the 9:30 a.m. service. Children begin with their parents in the sanctuary and leave for their classes after the Story For All Ages. RE Classes will end at 10:45.
Our nursery staff care for infants and children not yet in Kindergarten and is available at both services and is coordinated by Mary Cobb.
A successful RE experience for the child depends on regular attendance in order to create community and clear understanding of the curriculum. Parents of nursery-aged children should fill out a child information form. All school-aged children attending a class should be registered. We welcome parental support for the RE program. If you would like to volunteer please contact the Director of Religious Education, Jennifer Pratt
Our Junior Youth Group led by Nancy Berggren serves students in grades 6, 7, and 8.
Youth attend the beginning of the 11:15AM service on the first and third Sundays of the month. Meetings are held downstairs after the offertory, and end at about 12:30PM.
We look forward to seeing familiar, friendly faces as well as meeting new friends throughout the year.
