Adult Education

The mission of the Adult RE Program is to enrich the congregation and community by offering a program of classes and activities which foster spiritual, intellectual and emotional growth. Where appropriate the program charges a nominal tuition from participants to cover books, materials and equipment, and other costs.

Book Group

This group meets on the third Monday of every month in King Room. A light supper is served at 6:00pm followed by book discussion at 6:30

Small Group Ministry

This group offers an opportunity to grow your soul with others in the congregation.  These are faith group gatherings for religious community and spiritual deepening.  Small groups provide the opportunity to nurture caring relationships and to explore life issues in a religious context.  We gather to share joys and concerns and to discuss together a variety of topics that touch our experience of being human.  We aim to foster the sharing of feelings and ideas, and listening on a level of depth and attentiveness that does not often happen.  If you are interested in trying small group ministry, please speak with the Rev. Hoddy.

The Case For God Study Group

The class will meet from 7:15 – 8:45 p.m. in the Chapin Room (downstairs) beginning January 13. Participants are asked to buy the book and read the relevant chapter before the class. Each week, you are to bring one question you would like to discuss in the class. If you have questions about the class, please contact Rev. Hoddy 584-1555
